Pixelshifter is a collective of artists hailing from various creative disciplines ranging from software programming to VJ-ing. We are like-minded comrades with a passion for edgy, innovative visuals married with high production values. Having created projections and audio-visual pieces since the late 90s in various European clubs, recognition has allowed a hobby to become a livelihood.

Recent audio-visual escapades have been for the bands Keane and Blocparty. Designing all their projections involved the development of a ground-breaking audio-responsive visual system called code-named ‘rDog’.

Under our sister guise of minivegas we have also made high-profile commercials and promos. Basing ourselves in London’s creative hotbed, Shoreditch has ensured our collective finger remains firmly on the pulse.

We are currently collaborating with Random Number to release our first Audio Visual DVD. Random Number is the name which Matt Robson goes under when he creates what has been described as ‘Northern Wrongbeat’, a mesh of emotive, brooding harmonies drawn and quartered by aggressive, beat heavy rhythms. It’s digital music with a human heart at it’s centre. We hope to release this DVD somewhere next summer.
