“vj Jasper has sourced the rich aesthetic of modern masters Klimt, Monet, Mondrian, Degas, Van Gogh and
Picasso in a contemporary form.

Using hand-drawn images, organic digital techniques and sophisticated software vj Jasper has created
multi-layered, energising, gorgeous and sassy images with locale, flow, composition and atmosphere that
rise to epiphanies of beauty and feeling. Starting at the age of ten with landscape oil painting and then progressing naturally to an Amiga 1000 computer, vj Jasper now creates and sells vj loops, and mixes video art live at dance events including Splendour in the Grass and Transmission.

Describing his artwork as visual yoga, vj Jasper is inspired by the Bauhaus movement of the 1930s,
Marshall McLuhen and a series of sculptors, composers and animators all of whom are distinguished by their
dedication to the aesthetic revelations of the countermelodies that surround form and function.”
