Ghost is a well known figure on the independent hip-hop scene in the UK. He has taken his time to steadily build his reputation around remixes and his weekly radio show on London’s infamous Itch fm. His style of melodic instrumentation sampled from classic funk and jazz, coupled with beats straight off the MPC gives his music a very earthy and syncopated feel. 2003 saw the debut release “Ghost Stories” on Breakinｹ Bread Records as well as production for Kashmere on his 2nd release Raw Styles V2.0. Both have been extremely well received, gaining widespread recognition and airplay on a worldwide scale, from the BBC’s 1 xtra to San Francisco’s KZSU.
